(e) The idea of the project Hindurch zum Raum consists in making the Gallery Links disappear. Links is an art project by Heinrich Gartentor, in which a large, space-filling cube is installed in the Gallery DuflonRacz. It is a gallery within a gallery. Corrugated cardboard is used to build a space-filling installation, which, on the one hand, has the Gallery Links disappear, but, on the other hand, also the walls and ceiling of the Gallery DuflonRacz. With surveillance cameras that are connected to projectors elements concealed by the cardboard installation become visible again. A ventilator is attached to the ceiling and is in operation during the exhibition. Like the other room elements it is also concealed by the installation. One can feel and hear the movement of the ventilator, but one can only see it on the projection surfaces. This layering of the elements of a room allows an apparent dissolution of the spatial situation to occur. (Hindurch zum Raum: Through to the Room)

(g) Die Idee des Projektes Hindurch zum Raum besteht darin die Galerie Links verschwinden zu lassen. Links ist ein Kunstprojekt von Heinrich Gartentor: Es handelt sich dabei um einen grossen, raumfüllenden Kubus, der in der Galerie DuflonRacz platziert ist. Eine Galerie in der Galerie. Mit Wellkarton ist eine raumfüllende Installation entstanden, die einerseits die Galerie Links verschwinden lässt, andererseits auch die Wände und Decke der Galerie DuflonRacz. Anhand von Überwachungskameras, die mit Projektoren verbunden sind, werden durch die Karton-Installation verborgene Elemente wieder sichtbar gemacht: An der Decke ist ein Ventilator befestigt, der während der Dauer der Ausstellung in Betrieb ist. Wie die anderen Raumfragmente, wird auch er durch die Installation verdeckt. Man kann die Bewegung des Ventilators spüren und hören, jedoch nur über die Projektionsflächen sehen. Diese Überschichtung von Raumfragmenten lässt eine scheinbare Auflösung der räumlichen Situation entstehen.

(f) L’idée du projet se réalise via la disparition de la galerie Links. Links est un projet d’art de Heinrich Gartentor: Il s’agit d’un grand cube en bois qui remplit une salle de la galerie DuflonRacz. Gartentor a ainsi créé sa galerie dans la galerie. Dans le projet Hindurch zum Raum il s’agit d’une installation en carton qui fait disparaître la galerie Links ainsi que les murs et le plafond de la galerie DuflonRacz. Au moyen de caméras de surveillance, connectées à des projecteurs, des éléments jusqu’alors cachés par l’installation sont de nouveau rendus visibles: Un ventilateur installé au plafond de l’espace DulfonRacz reste en marche durant l’exposition. De même que les autres fragments de l’espace, il est caché par l’installation. Les mouvements du ventilateur sont perceptibles à travers le bruit, ainsi que la brise produite, mais ils sont visibles qu’à travers la projection. Cette superposition de fragments de l’espace met en exergue une disparition apparente de la situation spatiale. (Hindurch zum Raum: au travers de l’espace)
